Jim has been in the post industry for over 30 years and is proud to be one of the founders of Hootenanny. He loves the mix of creativity and technical knowledge required to do high-end finishing and visual effects. He has worked on national campaigns for McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Walmart, Aldi, Kohler, Kellogg's and Whirlpool, among others. In his free time, Jim enjoys trail running and getting out on the golf course with friends. Fun fact: Jim has been over the top and down the side of the Hancock building with the window washers.
Sean Halvorsen is a self-proclaimed “expert” in the editorial arts, with almost 20 years of experience in the post-production business. He is currently living it up in the northern suburb of Northfield, Illinois. When he’s not busy editing HUGE budget television commercials and way, waaaaay smaller budget pieces of “content”, Sean is a perfect husband, father, and law-abiding member of the community.
You can usually find him playing Xbox with his two boys, or taking a long walk around town while listening to self-help audiobooks.
Does Sean have a secret talent? No, but he does have anxiety and most likely Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
As a lifelong fan of comedy, Sean aspires to one day cut a Super Bowl spot for Taco Bell and has recurring nightmares about hosting Saturday Night Live. Sean vows to keep working in post-production until they politely ask him to stop.
